Albert's School

Albert's school is an elementary school operated by the city of Helsinki for deaf and hearing-impaired students. Special groups can be started for those students who cannot advance following the normal curriculum.

A bilingual and culturally strong environment establishes the students’ strong self-esteem and a solid base for learning in the future. The primary philosophy of Albert's school is to create an atmosphere in which every student’s personal needs are taken into account in such a way that the student would develop into a well rounded active learner ready for higher education.

Situated in the centre of Helsinki, Albert's school is opened to the rich culture and art of the capital city as well as drama and museums.
